'Colonize Mars' is a personal poster I designed with the goal of sparking space-age enthusiasm for space travel. Modern illustrations meet the optimistic tones & language of the past. I captured the bright ideas of exploration surrounding space in a way that rings true as a message for the visionaries of then & now. I carefully used the visual language of typography to envelop older-style formal optimism. With the combination of the simpler illustration of Mars & the Rocket, invoke the modern styles we associate with corporate dialogue.
